Blue tort - do I dare try again?
Here's my new Tort frag! I did the iodine dip test and found no flatworms, and it looked safe for my system. I picked it up at Fish Gallery in Dallas.

'm back from Switzerland. The funeral was beautifully handled, and spending time with family was the best thing I could have done. The reef tank looks like it did fine without my presence. Thank you Steve (TCU_reefer) and Frank (Franks-tanks.com) for looking after the system while I was out of town. You both did an excellent job and allowed me to focus on important family matters for the past week.
A new page has been added to the site:

FYI, Reefcast Episode #13 is available!
I'm heading to MACNA on Thursday, and Evan is riding shotgun. We're taking all the goodies for our Reefcast booth in the vendor's hall. While I'm away, I've recruited some local help to check on the tank once a day.
I treated my tank with a new product called Red Slime Control by Blue Life USA.
I completely drained and cleaned out the refugium yesterday, washed all the sand, shook off the macro and LR in rinse saltwater, and set it up anew. The cyano in that zone was so out of control, I figured I needed to reduce the nutrient level trapped in that compartment. It looks much better, but I'm very sore after working on that for over three hours. That would be the one drawback to a huge sump, when trying to reach the back portion.
My site has a few more pages updated.

New page for the site: AEFW (Acropora Eating Flatworms)
This is a work in progress, where I'll document what is working and what should help get rid of this infestation that devour Acropora sp.
