Will they or won't they...?

Peaches, the Anthias I bought, is actually a Threadfin Anthias according to one site I read. She seems more and more comfortable staying out in the open, but does cautiously hide in the rockwork if I'm around the tank too long. Still, today she decided to stick around while I took a few pictures, and hopefully she'll end up being less and less camera-shy.

Threadfin Anthias

I've tried a new method recently to help save some zoanthids that are suffering from some type of issue - possibly brown jelly disease. A couple of days ago, I used a turkey baster to suck off the top of each infected polyp, breaking free a 'cap' of dead tissue, and today a new polyp-head was forming with the cap pulled off. This may or may not work, but I wanted to try something instead of watching these simply wither away.

The pair of Target Mandarins were seen swimming near each other again yesterday, rather than the typical chase I've observed for the last few months. Maybe they will become a couple as I'd hoped.

One section of the larger BTA has finally broken free from itself. So at this point, there are now 3 BTAs in the tank. I still believe the last large section will split resulting in a total of 4 bubble tip anemones. However, only time will determine how this all ends up.
