Episode 11 of Reefcast is now available. #12 should be out later this week, all about MACNA.
My Tyree frag is slowly showing improvement after being treated for AEFW (Acro Eating Flatworms) two weeks ago. Here it is, showing a little color at the tips.
As you visit my site, you'll start to notice the new look that is being incorporated as time permits. I do hope you'll like the new look as well as the navigational feature in the left column. Page addresses won't necessarily change, especially the more popular ones.
My goal is to arrange topics into themes, and hopefully I'll be able to follow that plan throughout the site.
The Local Fish Store (LFS) page has been updated again. Stores out of business have been removed, others that have moved are correctly listed, and the map has been edited to match. Some stores have a matching website, which can be accessed from their dot on the map or the link by their name.
Hope it helps those of you visiting the area.
For your viewing pleasure, some top down shots:
Acropora nobilis
A plating coral - I don't know the name.
A frag from Next Wave. Acropora sp.
The Acorpora secale
My order came in from Marine Depot, so I dosed the tank with two containers of Chemi Clean to erradicate the last of the cyano in the system. Each package treats 300g of water.
Tucker has been evicted.
Because this is such a monumental event, I video-taped the trapping for you. It is recorded in real time, so you can experience it as I did. This is a 69 meg video, and totally worth your time. As always, the best option is to Right Click & Save As to your harddrive.

Being impatient, I've been making minor modifications to my site now, in anticipation for the entirely new look you'll be seeing in the near future. The front page of the site has a black background, as I tend to make most of my pages that way.
