The moment I spotted this Flame Angel - Centropyge loriculus - at the LFS, I had to have it. And it just celebrated being in Melev's Reef for one year recently. Living with hard and soft corals, and skirting the dangerous tentacles of my Bubble Tip Anemone daily, it has been a model citizen. Even my Maxima clam has never been bothered. Some people find the opposite, so all I can say is this: imho, Flame Angels are reef safe. Having a harem(5 or more) provides a spectacular show of color!
